Lynne Wiggins, who is a member of Tibet Aid's Board of Directors and a sponsor of a child at the
Tibetan Children's Villages, joins with Tibet Aid to invite you to travel on a two week spiritual trip to
Dharamsala. Travel to Tibet has been cancelled for 2008, as Chinese authorities have denied access
to Tibetan regions following protests calling for religious and political freedoms in Lhasa, Beijing, and
around the world.
The focus of our trip this year will be pilgrimage
and cultural insight, now centered primarily in Dharamsala. We will
visit the Dalai Lama's temple and monastery as well as the Tibetan Children's Village, the
Norbulingka Center of Tibetan Art and Culture and the Tibetan Library and Medical Center. We are
requesting an audience for our group with His Holiness and will arrange meetings in Dharamsala for
as many sponsors and sponsored students, monks, and nuns as possible. For more details, please visit
